Service Department
Whether it
is time for scheduled maintenance, or your equipment requires more intensive
work, Golden Equipment’s Service Department is capable of meeting your service
needs. We realize equipment problems do
not always occur during normal business hours.
We offer 24 hour emergency service and after hours phone service. Furthermore, our fully loaded high tech
service trucks enable most jobs to be done on site. We hire experienced mechanics, which continue to improve their
skills as they regularly attend factory provided training classes.
To further
meet your service needs, we offer on site lube services. We have an environmentally safe lube trailer
with four 70-gallon oil tanks, which can meet all of your lube needs. We can
also service most makes and models of equipment, not just those we carry at
Golden Equipment.
People
Our
technicians are highly skilled professionals with considerable industry
experience and training in the diagnosis, repair, and operation of a variety of
construction, mining and aggregate equipment.
We are committed to the continuous enhancement and development of our
mechanics skills and abilities. Shop
and field technicians undergo extensive factory training conducted by all of
our product manufacturers.
Facilities
Golden
Equipment Company has two modern, fully equipped machine repair facilities and
equipment yards in Albuquerque and Farmington New Mexico. The shops are equipped with the latest in
computer diagnostic hardware and software, and we have all of the special tools
to perform repairs on any of our product lines, as well as, many additional
products we do not carry. Our in-shop
facilities are large enough to accommodate machines as large as Volvo A40D haul
trucks and L330E loaders. We are an EPA
Certified Hazmat Disposal Facility for all equipment oils, filters, and other

Golden
Equipment’s yards are easily accessible for ease of equipment drop off and pick
up, regardless of machine size or method of transport. We have flatbed loading docks and the
equipment necessary to load or unload machines in any condition.
Shop on Wheels
Golden Equipment Company operates a fleet of custom field service trucks
fully loaded with all the tools necessary to perform just about any diagnostic,
maintenance or repair procedure that may come up on the job site. Every truck is equipped with an 8,000 lb
lift crane, welder/generator and cutting apparatus, air compressor and pressure
tank, holding vise, computer diagnostic equipment and “a microwave oven” making
them a fully functional full service repair shop on wheels.
